Malaysia Cup

Back in 1994 when I was in primary school
Singapore won the Malaysia cup and league double
I was back in Singapore for winter holiday in Melbourne
I remember watching on Tv and saw we won it 4-0
It was memorable
That time soccer(aka. Football) was so big here ing Singapore
It was before the EPL and whatever league
Out of sudden in 1995 we no longer play in the Malaysia cup
The cup was the most sort after in this region!
Thousand flocks to the national Stadium ( aka the grand old lady) before it was demolish
I barely remember watching some matches!
Last time no much Internet but news are spread fast!

S. League was born it gather much fanfare in the first 3 years before it go downhill even a foreign team won this year
So what need is a revamp

Get back the crowds let the young know!!

Good news we gonna be back at Malaysia starting 2012
It a good start
Going against kelantan, treggannu and even selangor
All consider the top 4 in Malaysia league like the EPL big 4
We can be like them!!!
Be the top 4 team to beat if want win the league

About six more days the traditional rivalries going to happen
Singapore Vs Malaysia on the world qualifying
Winner get to go 3rd round!
I heard tickets are sold out!! 4000 tickets
People wear red and support the lions!!! I hope they don't disappoint us all
We need the team to be as they are back in 1990s
The roar of the lions!!

Next question!!! Stadium
Yes sport hub is havnt complete so we can't just plus at a 5k plus stadium at jalan besar!!!
We need at least 20k
I suggest add more seats to Jalan besar or Bishan!! Or chua chu kang stadium! The jurong stadium too far and the field OMG
So best is a stadium near mrt!!!
We can even erect temp stadium at the Padang or some empty field
FAs need think if they want fans they big stadium not just good players
Cause even you got Rooney play for your team if you stadium fit 10 k fans you losing out on about 20 k who wish to be at the stadium to watch!!!
If we can spend 300 million on the YOG while not 1 million to upgrade a stadium from 5k to 20 k seats which can be use even for others event too!
