Baybeats 2012 Day 1

Baybeats is a annual music festival at the esplanade. Showcasing bands and act from Singapore and regional as well. Past few years there been a lot of bands that become more known after performing here. It happen usually during July august period when national day parade practice going on.

This year is the 10 year baybeats been held. Since a small stage in 2002, it has become a huge festival where locals band want to perform at.

Bands merchandise are also been sold here. So does baybeats merchandise such as t-shirt and also lanyard etc. It now a collectors item as you can only get it here. As each year the design getting nicer and nicer.

This year line up has some who make it big come back to perform again.

This year my fav band Mocca came. After 10 months of not performing together, they came to perform again. There even encore! They perform my fav song too!

Tommorow is day 2, still time to visit and enjoy. It till this Sunday. Be there after 5pm. Enjoy the atmostphere, only at baybeats you can get from pop to metal music lovers mix and come to enjoy music

Got a invite to attend the event. I went after work though I was kinda feeling tired and sick! Want to pass the event. But then okie lah I just go!

Reach there a bit late, cause taking the train at peak times not a good think!

When I reach everyone was there already. I see left right gosh I the only guy!

After they finish explaining the promotion we get to eat!!

Trip To Universal Studios Singapore

Yesterday was a damn fun day! Never have been this fun for so long. Though queue was super long but it moving. Atleast it still better then stuck in a queue.

Got a discount tickets so why not. It nearly 50% dicount. So decide to go for it to release stress! But it was a Saturday so i prepare to queue very long though!



I try nearly all the rides. Only the Battlestar Galatica I chicken out! Too scary! Most scary was the Revenge of the Mummy! It a indoor roller coaster. Has a drop from height. Lucky we were in the middle. If infront i think I never will open my eyes ever.

We took Transformer Ride twice. First time the queue was so long then when in evening around 7 45pm, only 5 mins of waiting.

We miss a few shows though cause we go queue all the rides. Cant wait to watch the sesame street ride opening. We miss Waterworld show. When we want go there, no more show. Last show was at 7 30pm. Miss it! Then we go the Rapid ride at Jurassic Park. Wah I was all wet! A nice ride just scary when we enter the tunnel then pludge down.


I only get to buy 1 bottle. It come with 1 first fill up. Then if want refill is $2. We refill with plain water then in the end we fill with Sprite for $2.

It come with lanyard. easier to carry around. But keep come off the buckle. Lucky not during rides!

Anime lovers in Indonesia seem don't have to wait for Anime Festival much longer. Indonesia will have a turn to hold the Anime Festival finally. The date is 1-2 September 2012. This will be the first anime festival for Indonesia.

It is official as announced on the AFA_Indo account - Anime Festival Asia Indonesia is to take place in Jakarta on September 1st and 2nd. Danny Choo, the producer of the Culture Japan show and a Japan's METI consultant on the Cool Japan Project, stating that the Anime Festival Asia in Jakarta is not a hoax. Danny Choo was involved even just a bit in the planning and he thinks you will like who is coming. He'll be a toilet cleaner at Indonesian AFA. 

Anime Festival Asia (AFA) is a convention organized by the Sozo and Dentsu. First held in 2008. Since then, the event was held at the Suntec Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre, Singapore annualy. IThere is also ideas exchange by figures and people in anime industry to discuss the prospect, socializing and cooperation for the development of anime. AFA is born out of necessity to showcase the anime community favorites in terms of popular Japanese culture.
