ELVES, fairies and gargantuan-sized glowing mushrooms will transform Singapore's Night Safari into an enchanted wonderland this December, as part of the attraction's new Mystica event.
Starting Dec 9 and running every Friday and Saturday evening this month, Mystica will bring to life the folklore of a mythical forest, featuring performers, luminescent structures, and the park's nocturnal creatures.
The main highlight, the Mystica Trail, will allow guests to admire animals like the bearcat, slow loris and palm civet, while being charmed by glow worms and fireflies, and mythical characters like the Forest Keeper and the Elven Archer on their journey.
At the Critter's Encounter attraction near the ranger station, guests can also get up close and personal - during this limited event - with a snake, hedgehog and the wide-eyed sugar glider.
In conjunction with the festivities, the park's Ulu Ulu Safari Terrace will also be whipping up a special dinner menu with aptly named dishes like the Enchanted Forest Medley and the Fairy's Beef Creation.
For a more in-depth experience, guests can also sign up for the Mystica Safari Adventurer Tour, which includes a feeding session with flying squirrels, a close encounter with Asian elephants, and a private buggy tour.

Price: Regular admission fee: $32 (Adult), $21 (Child, 3-12 years old). Singaporeans, PRs and Employment/Study Pass Holders who go dressed in green will enjoy a 30 per cent discount on ticket admission.
Mystica Safari Adventurer Tour
Price: $230 (adult) and $160 (3-12 years old)
