For those of you who remember the old library@orchard at Ngee Ann City, you’ll know it was a much loved presence in Orchard Road. It featured a lifestyle-focussed collection , an open stage and the first graphic novel collection (manga collection etc) in any of public libraries. I always go if I go orchard for shopping or just walk around. The library closed in 2007 due to non-renewal of lease.
