SG50 N.A.I.L.S Festival
SG50 N.A.I.L.S Festival which was held at Neverland II, St. James Power Station, with the PinkRoom International Nail Academy (PRINA) as the event sponsor. Held in conjunction with the SG50 (Singapore 50 years national day), this event brings together the nail industry to celebrate the gappy occasion of the country national day
The main floor of the club which has turned into a room of pink because the competition and the contestants are wearing pink(can I have the tshiry too) so as their hand models (I do see a guy as a hand model😊). There are about 70 participants and hand models who from Singapore and around the region too. They are going to pit their skills against each other in the PinkRoom Cup nail competition for the title of Grand Champion.
I came after Ms Rachel Tang, PinkRoom's Founder and Principal give the opening speech. The competition has started when I reach.
This is the 3rd nail competition by pinkroom which first PRCUP was held in 2007.
While the competition is held. There performances from different performances to entertain the crowd. The firsts performances was a live band, a Jazz and Pop band by Clarice & The Jive Collective.
After the band there was a young local band from Singapore Polytechnic . Which is a combination of saxophone and guitar playing pop songs.
PinkRoom's is giving back to society, another main highlight of the event is the charity manicure.
There are professionals providing manicure, as well as other beauty and creative services to raise funds for Singapore Children's Society. This helps raise funds for charity as we have fun too.

There have coffee samples which you can go and try too. They do sell the Premium White Coffee, you can buy one if you like.
Instant photo print out by MomentoGraphy which you can take a momento picture of the event you attend.

SOTERIA Hair Studio provides hair styling service. They also showcase their models on stage on their services.
QTTIE, one of the sponsors. They have a lot which you can build and customize your own manicure kit. I wish I bought it. It great to do my own manicure with my own set.
Nail art gallery to display all the nail art done by the nail professionals for the competition. This the one which uses faked nails instead of real life model. There different categories for this competition too. The theme this year of the nail art submissions is 'SG50', in conjunction with Singapore's 50th National Day. There are different type of nail arts that in the competition.
Ms Eriko Kurosaki, a world-renowned and award-winning Japanese Celebrity Nail Artist is one of the judge. Here she doing the judging on the faked nails category. She too judge on the real life hand model competition too.
How I wish she can do my nails as she is one of the World's Best, and the only Japanese nail artist to have won in World Championships.
Did not stay till the end of the event because I need to rush off for personal matters. Did not manage to witness the prize giving ceremony. I wish I could stay.
