Facebook Buys Instagram For $1 Billion

Facebook has acquired photo-sharing app Instagram. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced the acquisition in blog post Monday. The total consideration for San Francisco-based Instagram is approximately $1 billion in a combination of cash and shares of Facebook.

Ever wonder how tissue are made? The toilet paper you use every time you have a tummy ache.

Last weekend Paseo has a event showing how they make their tissues and toilet paper. Held at NTUC fair price NEX mall at serangoon.

Bloggers like myself was invented to attend to discover how tissues are been make. Also there contest and promotion going on! Buy any paseo products, they can redeem a free gift from paseo! There also a quiz which you can answer and get a small prize if all you answer are right!

It a event which adults and kids can learn on how tissues are made. Here how paseo make theirs

Acacia trees are used to make the tissues

The tree trunks are been chips in smaller pieces
Also nothing is wasted as the bark are used as fuel

The 3rd step is call digesting. It a way to make the chips of wood become small pieces

Cut into small rolls before pack in plastic bags and deliver to supermarket then to your toilet !!







So now you know how tissues are made! Rarely we go see how they made tissues!

Tech: Angry birds cartoon series in the works

The story of Angry Birds is coming to a little screen and big screen near you.

The wildly popular game is being turned into an animated series expected to debut this fall, game developer Rovio said at the MIPTV conference in Cannes, France.

"We're going to roll out a weekly animation series later this year of shortform content," Rovio's head of animation, Nick Dorra, said, according to a Guardian account. The 52 episodes will each last about three minutes and be available on a variety of devices.

Dorra also confirmed that an Angry Birds movie is the works, but it won't be released for a couple of years.

"It's in development, but it won't be out in 2013 or 2014," Dorra told the MIPTV audience. "You'll have to bide your time and first watch all of our shorts."

Rovio bought animation studio Kombo in June 2011 to extend the brand beyond its gaming platform. The overall goal is to transform Rovio from a gaming company to an entertainment company. In addition to the series and movie, the company has also published an Angry Birds cookbook.

The game, which is reportedly played by 130 million people daily, has long been available on a wide variety of mobile and desktop platforms.
